On Thursday, Josh Duggar, 33, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for receiving and possessing child pornography. Jill Dillard, 30, who he sexually abused as a kid, released a statement with her husband Derick Dillard, 32. They said they have been ‘lied to so much’ that they decided to go to court and hear the facts for themselves.
The Duggar family also took aim at those who have excused and enabled Josh, which appears to be a shot at Jim Bob’s wife Jill. They called the trial a “funeral,” stating they stand with Joshua’s wife Anna and their children.
Jim Bob and Michelle offered their support for Anna, stating that they will “never cease to pray for Joshua, and love him” as they do all of their children.
Michelle and Josh’s cousin Amy, as well as Derick and Jill’s sister-in-law, have all issued statements about the case. Michelle only attended part of the trial, while Josh’s uncle Bob went just partway. The family of Jill and Derick has also spoken out. Josh Duggar Child Conviction Case Explored: Wiki, Family & Wife.

Who Is Josh Duggar?
On Thursday, Josh Duggar, 33, was convicted of receiving and possessing child pornography. He is in jail while his sentence is being determined.
Jill Duggar and her spouse Derick Dillard claimed they had been lied to so much about Josh’s conduct that they had to hear the evidence in court for themselves — despite the fact that it felt like a “funeral” at times — and that the jury arrived at a “fair result.”
On Friday, after Josh, 33, was found guilty of receiving and possessing child pornography charges that carry up to 20 years in prison each, Jill and Derick, 30, offered their comments.
The couple used Bible quotations to denounce hypocrisy in the statement and even seemed to take a jab at Jim Bob’s daughter Jill with a passage about he who “justifies the wicked.”
Meanwhile, Jim Bob and Michelle issued a carefully-crafted statement of their own, stating that they would ‘never stop praying for Joshua, loving him, and all of our children.’

Josh Duggar Family
Jana, Joy Anna, Austin Forsyth, Justin and Claire Dillard, and Jason Duggar were all in attendance for portions of the trial to hear testimony from several family members. As of mid-day Friday, Jill is the only sibling to have spoken about the case or outcome publicly.
During the trial, Derick was seen each day, usually sitting beside Anna Josh’s wife. On Wednesday, when closing arguments were given, he was accompanied by Jill. Jill had been on a list of potential witnesses that may have been called to the stand but was never required to do so.
Jill has previously spoken out about her abuse at the hands of Josh Duggar, telling People magazine that he had molested her when she was a youngster.
Jessa, who was supposed to be in court but was not seen there, had also come forward as a victim, while Jinger and Joy were subsequently identified as victims in a lawsuit.
The jury’s decision has not been commented on by any of the Duggar family members. Jim Bob’s sister Deanna Duggar, Amy Duggar King, and Derick and Jill’s sister-in-law Deena Dillard are some other relatives who have spoken out about it.
