Robin Madden is the mother of Joel Madden who is an American singer and best known as the lead vocalist for the rock band Good Charlotte. Along with his identical twin brother Benji Madden, he is a member of the pop rock group the Madden Brothers.

Robin Madden is married with Roger Combs. Couple has two sons named, Joel Madden and Benji Madden. They have founded Good Charlotte with his identical twin Joel Madden. Josh is his older brother and Sarah is his younger sister. All went to La Plata High School in Maryland.
Madden and twin brother Joel formed Good Charlotte in 1996. The Madden brothers composed and produced for other artists while playing in Good Charlotte.
On Hilary Duff’s 2005 compilation Most Wanted, Madden co-wrote and co-produced some songs. He went on to write “Amnesia” for 5 Seconds of Summer and “No Ordinary Girl” for Kalin and Myles.
