Tina, as those who have seen the HBO documentary film Tina can attest, has endured a number of terrible problems in her life, including the loss of her son Craig Turner.
According to OprahDaily.com, Tina was mother to Craig, the son of jazz musician Raymond Hill, her first biological kid. How did Craig Turner die?
On July 3, 2018, a grieving Tina Turner revealed that her late husband died by suicide at home in Studio City, California, while she was away in Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week. He was 59 years old. Craig was working in real estate at the time of his death.
Tina said in an October 2017 BBC News interview that her brother appeared happy, with a new job and a new girlfriend in his life, shortly after Craig’s death.
“I still don’t know what took him to the edge, because at that stage he had said to me that he had never met a woman that he felt that way about,” she said at the time. “He was bringing her to meet me his birthday in August.

“He was an introverted person,” says Tina of her late husband. “I didn’t know anything about it, except now, when I listen back to our most recent conversations, there is a change,” she adds. “The past few times we spoke were different; I didn’t recognize it until after the suicide,” she explains further.
The “What’s Love Got to Do with It” singer also reflected on Craig’s death in a June 2019 CBS News interview. “I think Craig was lonely, that’s what I think really got him more than anything else,” she said. “I have pictures all around of him smiling, and I think I’m sensing that he’s in a good place. I really do.”
