Alström was born in Stockholm, Sweden. She began her acting career at the Unga Teatern (The Young Theatre) when she was five years old, and it was directed by Maggie Widstrand. At Puckteatern and at the Gröna Lund Theatre, the theatre group performed during Alström’s sixth year.
She subsequently appeared in a number of juvenile parts for the Royal Dramatic Theatre. In recent years, she’s been studying at the Swedish National Academy of Mime and Acting. In 2014, she starred as Princess Tilde in Kingsman: The Secret Service, which was followed by Kingsman: The Golden Circle in 2017.
