Why Jermaine Jakes Get Arrested?
On January 3, 2009, Jermaine Jakes was accused of exposing himself in Kiest Park, which is located near West Kiest Boulevard and South Hampton Road and is patrolled by the Dallas Police Department’s vice unit. The incident occurred when the police who was conducting surveillance in the area saw Jakes involved in lewd behavior. Jakes denied the allegations and claimed that he was falsely accused, stating that he had been at the park for innocent reasons. The case went to trial. His attorney Faith Johnson said,

Jermaine’s class B misdemeanor arrest resulted in a $1,000 bond. Six months in jail and a $2,000 fine is the maximum sentence for this charge. T.D. Jakes, Jermaine’s father, has spoken out about how sad he is over his son’s sentence to prison.
