Moon Geun-Young, Jo Han-Sun, and Kang Sang-Joon are cast in KBS2 drama special “Memories of Hae-Gak” (literal title). The drama special is part of this year’s KBS Drama Special series, which will have at least 10 different episodes. The drama series will have Moon Geun-Young and Jo Han-Sun playing a married couple that deals with alcoholism.
“Memories of Hae-Gak” will air sometime this December in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis
Eun-Soo (Moon Geun-Young) has taken care of her alcoholic husband Seok-Young (Jo Han-Sun) for the past seven years. She became stressed as a result of her harsh circumstances, including nursing her husband and working to support them. Eun-Soo’s dedicated nursing resulted in Seok-Young being able to quit drinking. However, Eun-Soo now drinks alcohol, and Seok-Young cares for her. He grows weary of their position.
Meanwhile Hae-Gak (Kang Sang-Joon) is the owner of a rental cottage, located at the end of a beach. He understands alcoholic Eun-Soo’s pain.
