The popular Bringing Up Bates reality series will not return as previously stated. Bringing Up Bates aired on UPtv from January 2015 through June 2021 and featured the show’s most recent 10 seasons, which began in January 2020 and concluded in June 2021.
“Due to a shift in focus to movies and a new scripted series to be announced shortly, we will not air The BAFTA Awards as planned for season 11,” an UPtv representative told Us Weekly. “The cameras were there to capture the love, humor, and important life events of the family as it continued to grow when Bringing Up Bates debuted. Thank you Gil and Kelly Jo Bates for allowing us into your family’s home for the past ten seasons.” Viewers were also thanked by the network.

Bringing Up Bates Season 11 Release Date
The Bates family released a statement, saying that “God’s timing is always perfect,” and they are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for their family and UPtv. “We had no intention or ambition of being on television, but we are eternally grateful to UP for all of the friendships we’ve made as a result of it.”
“It has been both thrilling and difficult to film and open up our home, but there aren’t enough words in the world that we could thank the great film crew and everyone else who has contributed their time and effort into making this program a reality. They’ve become part of the family, and they’ve had a long-term influence on us. We’d also want to convey our gratitude for all of the encouragement we’ve received throughout the years from individuals who have seen or written us emails or prayed for us.”
Bringing Up Bates Season 11 Plot
The family expressed their thanks to God for the lessons and experiences they’d shared. They are “utterly fortunate” to have their memories captured on film, according on the statement from the family. According to a press release from the family, they intended to continue bringing viewers up to date on their lives, but it wasn’t clear whether they would look for a new home for their show. Their ultimate goal is that each of them should try to learn more about God and improve inHis grace, as stated in the family’s statement
Gil and Kelly Jo Bates rose to worldwide recognition after appearing on TLC’s United Bates of America for the 2012 season. The pair relocated to UPtv in 2015, shortly after the show was canceled.
Katie Bates, 21, and Travis Clark got engaged before their wedding in December 2021, which concluded Bringing Up Bates. The Bates family is also acquainted with the Duggars. After Josh Duggar’s arrest on two felony counts of child pornography last year, TLC canceled Counting On, the show they were filming at the time. Duggar was convicted and sentenced to serve up to 20 years in jail and pay a $250,000 fine for each count in December. He has now been sentenced pending his fate.
