He was once reported to be dating his ABC colleague Gio Benitez after they were photographed together on several occasions in 2015, but these rumors were debunked when Gio got engaged and subsequently married his now-husband Tommy DiDario.
After the death of his daughter, David Muir was linked to Kate Dries, a fellow journalist. This time, she sparked rumors with an article for Jezebel entitled, Report Claims My Boyfriend David Muir Is a Monster.
“I’m very happy, but I decided to take a break from filming,” she added. “In David and my first date,’ he told me, “‘I thought Peter Jennings was the James Bond of evening news.’ It was on our first date that he said this.”
