What surgeries did the ‘RHOA’ star get: Drew Sidora before and after

She almost instantly had to acquire some thick skin after actress Drew Sidora joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast in Season 13. Drew was the lone new member at the time, and she received a lot of nasty remarks about her marriage to Ralph Pittman. After Drew said that Ralph had gone away for several days without telling her where he’d been, their marriage sparked debate.

Drew’s personal issues, joined with her co-star Kenya Moore’s remarks about Drew’s physical appearance in front of the RHOA cameras, have sparked speculation that she may be considering plastic surgery. What surgeries did the ‘RHOA’ star get: Drew Sidora before and after.

What surgeries did the ‘RHOA’ star get?

After Kenya Moore posted a photo of Drew’s “mommy makeover,” the pint-size reality star got one. Although they had an adversarial relationship from the beginning, their issues only worsened following Season 13 wrapped. In true RHOA style, the cast went to New Orleans for a group trip in an episode that aired on March 28, 2021, and the ladies bickered about which room each would get. Drew decided the best way to solve their problem was by suggesting the women “booty bounce” for a key.

After Kenya (who was there with her daughter, Brooklyn) refused, Drew later said in a confessional that Kenya paid for her butt so she shouldn’t be shy about showing it off.
Following the episode’s airing, Kenya tweeted about Drew’s remarks. Along with a photo of Drew in a dress that showed off her stomach, Kenya stated, “She needs to pay for a tummy tuck.”

While speaking with Us Weekly in April 2022, Drew revealed that Kenya’s “hurtful” and “body-shaming” comments had an impact on how she viewed herself. Finally, Drew decided to get plastic surgery in 2021, adopting the term “mommy makeover.” The procedure generally includes breast and stomach operations to correct abnormalities that women encounter as a result of pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding.

Despite the criticism from Kenya, Drew stated that she had additional reasons for undergoing surgery. The Step Up star told Us Weekly that she’d been battling a hernia for years and had severe cramps throughout all of Season 13. “I was taking pain medication for these terrible cramps,” she said.

“And I was like, ‘I don’t want to go through it again.’” To not only address cosmetic concerns, but also the ones affecting her general health, Drew opted for a mommy makeover. “I did everything… It was like the [whole] package,” she explained. “Boobs back in place — you know, make them a little smaller cause I was having neck issues — and then I had a hernia, and so they did a hernia repair and a tummy tuck. That was it. I was good. I’m happy.”

Drew has maintained her figure since having plastic surgery. And now that she’s back on track with her health, the actress claims she’s ready to show more of her genuine personality on RHOA. When filming Season 14, Drew made up with Kenya.

“I kind of didn’t remember why we were upset at each other,” Drew admitted, adding she was “on the defense” in Season 13. “[I thought,] let’s try to get to know each other because I feel like, if they really don’t know me and know what I’m about, how can [we] have all these issues? … And at the reunion, she did apologize.” On Sundays at 8 p.m. ET, Bravo airs new episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
