Dyllin Jaycruz Gogue Now, Sentence, Age, Criminal Charges

Dyllin Jaycruz Gogue has been accused of starting the huge fire that damaged a San Jose Home Depot last week during a crime spree. He resides in San Jose. Now, he is facing several criminal counts related to the April 9 fire, including arson with an enhancement.

He was charged with committing a blaze that destroyed a Home Depot while he was supposed to be working, causing millions of dollars in damage and forcing employees and customers to flee for their lives. April 15th brought Dyllin’s arrest. Jaycruz wasn’t the only one charged; Dyllin was also accused of robbing six South San Jose businesses between October 2021 and April 2022.

Rosen stated that if Dyllin Jaycruz Gogue is convicted of the charges, which include aggravated arson and seven counts of grand theft, as well as three counts of petty larceny, he could go to prison for 14 years or more.

Dyllin Jaycruz Gogue has not disclosed anything about his race or nationality to the general public. He is now being held at Elmwood Men’s Jail without bond. On April 9, Gogue attempted to steal items from the Home Depot’s lumber department after setting fire to it.

He had previously stolen goods from a Bass Pro Shop in town. According to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, Gogue attempted to flee with a truck-full of equipment after igniting the blaze. His alleged thieving spree continued once he departed.
