‘Called 911’ Is Dylon Peterson Still In Jail?
Dylon R. Peterson of Vancouver, who was sentenced to 57 years in prison for the murders of 15-year-old Mathew Nagle and his 45-year-old mother Sandra Torrell, is still behind bars. On January 7, after calling 911 and claiming he had stabbed two people, Peterson led cops on a high-speed chase that ended when his vehicle plowed into a tree at the intersection of 48th Avenue and 60th Street (map).
On the tape, he can be heard stating to a dispatcher, “I double-checked that they were dead before I called.” While Nagle was sleeping, Peterson resided with him and stabbed him in the neck. Torrell, who did not live there but was visiting for the night, was also murdered. Peterson pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder on April 30th.
After his conviction, Peterson did not make a statement, leaving the victims’ families with unanswered questions about why he did it. Even the prosecutor wasn’t sure what drove Peterson to stab his mother and son. Police claimed he was intoxicated at the time of the murders, but his attorney stated that it would not be used as an excuse.

On January 7, Dylon R Peterson murdered a mother and child by stabbing them to death. After phoning the police, he confessed to killing a 45-year-old woman and her 15-year-old son in a yellow duplex in the Rose Village area.
Peterson was also at the scene and detained after being questioned by law enforcement. He claimed to have known the mother and child, but they were no one to him during the 911 call. The reason for the murders is still unknown.
Peterson simply informed the dispatcher on the 911 tape from the day of the killings that he was born to murder. He had been arrested and charged with cocaine possession a few days ago. Peterson, on the other hand, pleaded not guilty in that case and was due in court later this month.
