What happened to Elizabeth Jasso? Death Reason & Updated!

Elizabeth Jasso, a 31-year-old woman from Texas, has been missing since early August 2021. On August 12, 2021, it was announced that she had been recovered alive.

What happened to Elizabeth Jasso?

Ms. Jasso’s family has not heard from her since Thursday, August 5, and they are “very concerned” about her safety.

The police department in Baytown, Texas, thought Jasso may have been experiencing a mental health emergency.

Jasso’s husband was murdered six months before her disappearance in Baytown, Texas.

According to Baytown Assistant Police Chief Eric Freed, Milko Jasso, 29, was shot at around 4:40 a.m. on February 2021. Before she met with police, Jasso was last seen at her husband’s graveside.

Cameras at a neighbor’s house captured Jasso leaving the house without her hospital bag in a white BMW on Thursday morning.

A worker at the cemetery where her husband is buried said they saw her later that morning.

On August 12, it was confirmed that Jasso was alive and had been found.

Is Elizabeth Jasso pregnant?

According to her family, Jasso faked her pregnancy with ultrasounds she purchased online and informed her in-laws that she was expecting twins.

“We live in a culture where people think you’re supposed to be either sad or happy,” Jasso’s cousin-in-law Victoria Cruz-Ramirez told ABC13. “It’s like a novella. It’s like a Lifetime movie.”

She added: “The sister and the father said that, ‘You know she wasn’t pregnant.’ They figured that she was faking the pregnancy. She couldn’t even have kids.”

The relatives concluded that Jasso, whom they previously thought was 40 weeks pregnant with twins, had purchased fraudulent ultrasounds on the internet and allegedly lied about her entire pregnancy.

Cruz-Ramirez hopes Jasso is safe and urged her to “get evaluated somehow.”

Jasso’s mother-in-law, Blanca Gonzalez, now feels “betrayed” by Jasso and wants to know why she was making up her pregnancy, according to the news source.

In a since-deleted Facebook post, she wrote: “I am completely at a loss of words with what I have discovered … Me and my family and friends have been deceived by my daughter-in-law.

“This is my daughter in law she has faked her pregnancy with fake ultrasound photos and we had no clue at all being that I lost my son a few months ago and her I was and everyone else thinking we were waiting on the arrival of my grandsons.

“So Liz if you are seeing this thank you for getting our hopes up I just ask you to come home and come forward with answers.”

What did Elizabeth Jasso’s parents say about her disappearance?

Jasso’s dad expressed fears for his daughter’s safety.

“We’re worried,” he said. “Very worried about her, and her safety and her babies.”

Gigi Dominquez, Jasso’s best friend, said the mom wasn’t the type to abandon them.
