Elsa Einstein Husband : She was married with Albert Einstein. She started her relationship with her cousin Albert Einstein in April 1912, while Albert was still married to his first wife, the physicist Mileva Marić. Moreover, Einstein and Mileva separated in 1914. Their divorce was finalized on February 14, 1919. Three and a quarter months later, Elsa wed him on June 2, 1919.
Albert and Elsa were both born to sisters. This made them maternal first cousins. Their fathers were also first cousins. The Einsteins were close-knit when they had stepdaughters Ilse, Margot and Albert. Albert and Elsa didn’t have children, but Albert raised Ilse (and Margot) as his own. Elsa Einstein Early Life
Elsa Einstein is the daughter of Rudolf Einstein, and Fanny Einstein. She has siblings as well. She had 2 sisters, Paula (c.1878-c. 1955), and Hermine (1872-1942).
