Garrett Clayton is an American actor and singer. He is known for portraying Tanner in the 2013 Disney Channel movie Teen Beach Movie and its 2015 sequel Teen Beach 2, and other film, television, and stage roles.
Clayton was born in Dearborn, Michigan, and moved to California at age 12. He began his career performing in school and community theater productions. His television debut came in 2009 with a guest role on the Disney XD series Aaron Stone. The following year he appeared in an episode of the HBO comedy series Entourage.
In 2013, Clayton was cast as Tanner in the Disney Channel original movie Teen Beach Movie. The film was a critical and commercial success, becoming one of the highest-rated original movies ever aired on the network. Clayton reprised his role in the 2015 sequel Teen Beach 2.
