Leandro Lo, a jiu-jitsu competitor and 33-year-old rocker from Brazil, was shot in the head at a concert early Sunday morning, according to multiple reports. Officer Henrique Otavio Oliveira Velozo is believed to be the culprit, according to Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting, who cited G1 and a police report seen by Combate. Leandro Lo, an eight-time World BJJ Champion, was shot, and a police officer, Henrique Otavio Oliveira Velozo, has been identified as a suspect. In addition, he works for the Military Police of the State of Sao Paulo as a first lieutenant. He began his career in law enforcement more than ten years ago. “Being a Teacher at the Military Police Training Schools and Acting as a Trainer and Personal Fighter at the Same Time,” according to Velzo’s biography.
However, his LinkedIn profile and other social media accounts are currently deactivated. “Deactivated the Instagram profile,” says another user. That gave us time to get a glimpse at this assassin’s face. “Henrique Otávio Oliveira Velozo was supposed to protect people rather than kill them,” one user adds. Another user comments, “He also trained in jiu-jitsu!” In other words, he was familiar with Lo’s identity and intentionally went to his table to irritate him because he knew Lo would fight back. Then he could fire!
Is The Police Officer In Jail?
The perpetrator has not been arrested, as confirmed by G1 News, and he remains at large. The accused police officer fled the area, and the case was forwarded to the Vila Clementino 16th Police District for attempted murder. Furthermore, according to witnesses and police records, the lieutenant was named a suspect in Leandro’s murder due to his provoking of Pixote group Pagade performers in Sao Paulo.

According to the cops’ allegations, after the Lieutenant snatched a bottle from his table, Lo took Velozo down and immobilized him. After they were torn apart, Velozo got back up and pulled out a rifle, shooting a bullet straight into Lo’s forehead.
The family of Lo rushed him to Dr. Arthur Ribeiro de Saboya’s hospital, where he was pronounced brain dead after just a few hours. Furthermore, the hospital was not permitted to offer any further information by the family.

Following the event, the police officer deleted all of his social media sites, so information on Henrique Velozo’s spouse and family is still being sought. On Twitter and Facebook pages, however, photographs of him posing while on vacation and a picture taken with a youngster in his arms may be discovered.
