The restaurant in Rifle, Colorado, has a gun-themed theme and employs staff who openly carry weapons. After it opened, the restaurant attracted national attention particularly from conservative news sources like Fox News — owing to its firearms ownership policies.
“When my husband, Jayson, and I decided to open a restaurant, we knew the industry’s financials were not always positive. That did not deter us; we are not and are not in this business for the sole purpose of making money. Jayson and Lauren Boebert have four sons together. According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, their eldest son was born when Lauren Boebert was 18, shortly after she had dropped out of high school to work to help her family.
The Boeberts’ children were 14, 12, 10, and 7 years old in January 2020 when Lauren Boebert announced her bid for Congress. In Glenwood Springs, she informed The Herald Times that her kids are educated at a private institution.
Kaydon, the couple’s third son, was born in July 2009 in Jayson Boebert’s truck bed, according to The Aspen Times. “When we got to New Castle, my water broke and I started pushing but couldn’t stop,” she said.
