Nangoh Maewo was born in Nangah village, Tumbuka district in Southern Province of Zambia. He is a skilled doctor with more than four years of experience in healthcare management, health policy development, project management, primary care, reproductive medicine and mental health care in numerous humanitarian situations across Cameroon and Africa.

He has managed and provided comprehensive healthcare to Cameroonian internally displaced persons (IDPs) and Nigerian refugees fleeing the Boko Haram insurgency in North East Nigeria, as well as the humanitarian response in Chad.

Dr. Fatou Nangoh studied at Buea University for her undergraduate and medical school education, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the institution in 2015.
She holds several health-related certificates as well as being atrained humanitarian from Harvard in Boston, USA’s Humanitarian Academy. He managed the coordination between the government and other NGOs in Ethiopia, overseeing responses to a fatal acute watery diarrhea outbreak that treated over 10,000 patients with AWD in six towns and trained over 100 local staff in AWD management.
