What’s the Story Behind This TV Show?

Pose is an FX drama series that follows the exploits of New York’s underground ball culture’s notorious and violent house mothers, which was a fashion that first took hold in the late 1980s. The cast includes MJ Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Indya Moore, Hailie Sahar, Billy Porter, Dyllón Burnside, Angel Bismark Curiel, Sandra Bernhard, and Jason A. Rodriguez.

The third season of House Of Evangelista begins in 1994. Blanca (Rodriguez) is attempting to manage motherhood while being a present partner to her new lover and choosing a vocation as a nurse’s aide. Meanwhile, Pray Tell (Porter) encounters unexpected health issues as AIDS becomes the most common cause of death among Americans aged 25 to 44. Members of the House of Evangelista are compelled to look into their history due to the formation of a malevolent new upstart house.

Pose Season 3 aired on FX in the United States this past May 12 and concluded its weekly run there. In the UK, Pose Season 3 will have to wait a little longer; however, we’ve been told it will be available on BBC this summer! If you haven’t seen it yet, the first two seasons of Pose are now available on BBC iPlayer and Netflix.
