René-Charles Angélil’s mother, Celine Dion is a Canadian singer. Referred to as the “Queen of Power Ballads”, she is noted for her powerful and technically skilled vocals. While his father, René Angélil who began his career in 1961 as a pop singer in Montreal. He formed a pop rock group, Les Baronets (fr), with childhood friends Pierre Labelle and Jean Beaulne.
