Mr. Cross Kgosidiile has been Chief Financial Officer of the Botswana Power Corporation since June 1, 2017. Cross Kgosidiile is involved in the financial restructuring and long-term financial sustainability of the corporation. He will continue to drive IT’s policy, which aims to enable BPC to fulfill its goal of providing safe, competitive and dependable electricity supply.

Who Is Cross Kgosidiile?
Gertrude Kgosidiile began his career as a Graduate Accounts Trainee with the Cash Bazaar Group in 1992. After 5 years with the Group, he moved to join the National Airline, Air Botswana, where he served as Financial Accountant for over five years. He was then promoted to become Finance Manager – reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, a job he held for almost 5 years.
He oversaw finance, information technology and supply chain management in his areas of responsibility. He was a member of the team that turned around Air Botswana and helped it achieve profitability for seven consecutive years.
Cross Kgosidiile Career
In 2005, Mr. Ben Mkwanazi was selected Chief Executive Officer of the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund and served in that position for more than ten years. During his ten-year term as CEO, the MVA Fund received numerous accolades in corporate reporting, customer service, and employee engagement – rated the Best Company to Work For by Deloitte Consultant for five consecutive years.
In addition to these accomplishments, he led the Fund’s transition process, which included altering the Fund’s Legal Structure, Work Culture, and Implementing of Integrated Information Technology Systems in order for it to be more customer-centric and financially viable.
