The final episode of My Dress-Up Darling’s 12-episode first season recently aired. The new artwork was distributed by the anime’s official Twitter account and showed Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo surrounded by the tremendous cosplays they fashioned throughout the series.

My Dress-Up Darling Celebrates Season Finale
In January 2018, Shinichi Fukuda began publishing the continuing My Dress-Up Darling manga series in Square Enix’s Young Gangan. The tale follows Gojo, a high school student with an intense interest in hina dolls, and Kitagawa, who has a great passion for video games and anime. To pursue her ambition of cosplaying, the two combine their sewing abilities and perseverance to achieve their goals.
Currently, there are over 5 million copies of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series in circulation worldwide, thanks to the recent anime adaptation directed by Keisuke Shinohara (My Little Witch Academia) and written by Yoriko Tomita (BUILD-DIVIDE -#000000- CODE BLACK).
It was further clarified by Aniplex, the anime’s production company, that 1.5 million copies have been sold since the series’ debut on Jan. 9. Not only have fans shown their devotion to My Dress-Up Darling by buying manga volumes; they’ve also embraced the cosplay element of the narrative and produced their own versions of Kitagawa’s costumes.
