Kaikai is married to Jacinta Mueni, a group production manager at Ogilvy, Kenya. Moreover, Kaikai has a master’s degree in International Journalism from the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. He began his career at Kenya Television Network in June 1999. From there, he worked for eight years at the South African Broadcasting Corporation, climbing the ranks from correspondent to Bureau Chief. In 2007, Kaikai was moved over to the Kenya Television Network as Managing Editor in charge of Quality and Product Development. He worked for two years at KTN before being assigned to NTV.
