Keandrian Qynzel Jones, better known by his stage name Kankan who was born on September 22, 2000, in Dallas, Texas. At the age of 23, he is currently active in the music industry since 2016. He is signed to the record label EMPIRE.

He was raised on the music of acts like Speaker Knockerz. At first, he had no intention of becoming a rapper. Jones is cited as saying that he first began rapping “as a joke” in an interview. Kankan started pursuing music full-time after realising how enjoyable it was to create songs.

A video uploaded on YouTube by News Random purports to show that Kankan is no longer alive. As per the video, he passed away on October 13, 2022. Channel admin stated,

“this is an ongoing narrative as we have still not confirmed this and are still trying to gather more details”

If you pay close attention to the video. After that, the narrator suggests that listeners subscribe to the News Random channel. Since the video provides no real information about Kankan, it appears to be nothing more than a death hoax.

Amazingly, Kankan uploaded a picture to Instagram two days after it was reported that he had died. He has tweeted multiple times since his purported death.

On October 23, 2022, he released the full music video for the song “GTA.” That appears to be sufficient proof, ‘I don’t know about you’, that Kankan is still alive and well.
