In July 2015, the actress joined the cast of Hollyoaks as troubled character Carly Bradley and quickly became involved in intrigue. Before being violently killed off in August, she was at the center of drama on the soap for a month. In 2016, Sophie was seen on Doctors, and this year she appeared on Holby City. Sophie has starred in BBC crime drama Rillington Place as Brenda, a role she played in the hit three-part series in 2016.

In 2018, Mo confirmed that he was in a relationship with Sophie but that they had never been photographed together. Confirming their new living arrangements, Mo told The Sun: “I looked at Surrey, a lot of people in TV move out there, but I work a lot in London so I bought in North London. I bought a five-bedroom semi-detached house. “I’m the first person in my family to buy a property so it’s a big deal. A lot of my family and friends will be coming over.”
He also revealed how he plans to stay there for a time, and he hopes it will be the home where his and Sophie’s children grow up.
