However, Gabriel refused to return the money and blocked him from their virtual contacts. When his mother arrived back in Nova Trento later that night, he called her and asked when she was returning. His mother was in Nova Trento around 9 p.m., on the day of the crime.
Later, he had gone to Gabriel’s house and tried to persuade him to open the door, but Gabriel refused. When Daniel claimed that everything would be resolved if he apologized, Gabriel opened the door. Gabriel thought his words and opened the door believing them. nDaniel then stormed into the home, slamming and pounding on Gabriel in fury. He assaulted him brutally. After that, he was covered in blood and Daniel started laughing.
