Who Is Willie Weathers?

Willie Weathers is a make-believe person. His persona is based on Michael Black, who went to Camp Kilpatrick and then played for Washington State after high school. He then played in the NFL before retiring in 1994. The Seahawks’ practice roster.

Weathers spent time in the CFL, Arena Football League and XFL. All of which you should know by now if you’ve read any earlier installments of “The Fake Report.” Weathers has also played for the Casper College Ghosts, Billings Outlaws and Hidalgo La Fiera (who hasn’t?). He was paid $200 to attend training camp with the Seahawks in 1990.

“We never saw him because he never showed up,” said then-Seahawks coach Tom Flores. “I don’t remember that name at all.”

Michael Black did show up. Just not in Seattle. That’s what happens when you make up a name and lie about your whereabouts on national TV.

Last season Jacksonville really did well beating Pittsburgh twice in Pittsburgh! That is really impressive. They also gave the Patriots a ride at NE in the playoffs. Historically the Colts travel well. I consider them warm weather due to the dome and that they play in the AFC South, so all of their division games are warm weather. The Colts win wherever they play. Dallas also has to be considered as they play below the Mason-Dixon Line and have done pretty well historically at NY and at Phi even late in the season.
