What Happens in Anna Pigeon Season 1 Episode 7?
The episode begins with Anna and Frederick spending time at the park while discussing UFO sightings. Frederick is much more open to the idea of extraterrestrial life than Anna, who remains skeptical.
Their argument becomes much harder to dismiss when a naked man covered in a strange blue-green glow suddenly appears in front of their vehicle. The man has no idea who he is or how he ended up there. He cannot even remember his own name, so the rangers temporarily refer to him as “Visitor.”
Rather than immediately accepting the supernatural explanation, Anna starts looking for something in the environment that could explain the glow. Her investigation leads her and Frederick toward a section of the river affected by an algal bloom.

Who Was Matt Skweikis?
Matt Skweikis was reported dead about 20 years earlier after disappearing during a solo camping trip. His wife, Mira, had been left with very little certainty about what happened to him because his badly damaged remains had been identified through his belongings.
Anna becomes interested in the case after learning that Matt’s wedding ring was never recovered. She wants to find it because she understands that the ring could give Mira something she has been missing for years: a definite answer about her husband’s final moments.

Monroe had crashed his truck and wandered into the wilderness. His exposure to cold water and severe hypothermia helps explain why he was found without clothes. The strange glow came from contact with bioluminescent algae rather than anything extraterrestrial.
