Airi Arrives at the Haunted House
Once Airi begins investigating the house, she quickly realizes that something really is there.
The spirit is a horrifying figure later referred to as the Gaping Mouth Man. His face is badly mutilated, leaving a huge opening where his mouth should be.
Strangely, the ghost does not immediately attack Airi. Instead, he repeatedly moves around the house and seems obsessed with a particular cabinet. He scratches at it as if he desperately wants something hidden inside.
